Welcome
The Basic Needs Center (BNC) at SBCC is a centralized hub that helps you navigate challenges you may be facing. We strive to combat food insecurity, inform students about CalFresh, and provide other resources in a dignified and helpful environment.
📌 STUDENTS, to access Basic Needs Programs and all services please:
- Complete the BASIC NEEDS INTAKE portal at basic-needs.info/SBCC
- Log in using your SBCC username and password.
- Complete a benefit screener.
- Let us know what challenges you are facing right now and we will connect you with a care coordinator.
You can also visit the Basic Needs Center on Cliff Campus for food/grocery support. For Wake Campus BNC click here.

Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) through California Climate Investments.
The SBCC Basic Needs Center is also funded by the CCCCO Hunger-Free Campus Initiative,
the SBCC Foundation, and generous donations from campus and community members.
